לילי ורוז'ה (שושנה) נולדו בדרוהוביץ' להוריהן, מנדל ז"ל ופייגה ז"ל. האב מנדל ז"ל נרצח ביער ברוניצה.
כמעט כל בני המשפחה נספו בשואה, בעוד לילי, רוז'ה ואמם התחבאו בדרוהוביץ' ובהמשך בבית משפחת קופצ'אן האוקראינית בכפר וצוויצה יחד עם ששה עשר יהודים נוספים.
הם והבנות עלו ארצה ב-1949.
לילי עבדה כמטפלת ילדים בויצו, התחתנה עם ישראל ז"ל ולהם שתי בנות.
רוז'ה התחתנה עימנואל שפר ז"ל, יליד דרוהוביץ', מאמן נבחרת ישראל בכדורגל, שגם משפחתו נספתה בשואה. רוז'ה עבדה בתחום הפיננסי ואחר כך בחנות ספורט שלה ושל בעלה. לרוז'ה-שושנה ארבעה בנים.

- It was the Ukrainian who entered the room, not the Polish guy who had hid us on the roof of the barn.
- the girl was the Ukrainian wife's niece.
- We hid there until the liberation of Drohobycz by the Russians in September 1944.
