Tuchfeld - Eidelsheim

I am Sala Eidelsheim (Tuchfeld by marriage to Max Tuchfeld ) daughter of Shimon and Anna Eidelsheim.

We lived on 43 Narutowicza street ( Potok), Boryslaw.My father owned a watches and jewelry store in town,

During the war, we had to go through a lot of suffering, get detained in the ghetto, hide before every Akcia, become forced laborers in the lager, and dig bunkers in the forest.
 
In the course of two tears, we lost all of our family members except Max's brother. . They were killed one by one, in the Akcia's, in extermination camps, by diseases, and evenwhile serving in the Polish army.
 
I met Max during the war. We survived  hell due to our resourcefulness, determination, helping each other, our humanity and a lot of luck.
 
In 1950 we were lucky to be able to get to Israel. We raised up our daughter and a remarkable family including three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

סלה Yufpks, נולדה בבוריסלב ב-1922 לשמעון ואנה איידלסהיים Eidelsheim. שמעון היה שען, צורף ובעל חנות תכשיטים ושעונים, ואנה היתה עקרת בית וטיפלה בארבעת הילדים, מקס (מכל), פניה, סלה ואייז'ו (אייזיק). סלה עברה את השואה בעיר בוריסלב בגטו, במחנה כפייה ובבונקרים ביערות. כל משפחתה של סלה נספתה בשואה, וסלה נותרה לבדה בחיים. סלה הכירה את מקס בתקופה זו, ויחד שרדו את תלאות המלחמה. ב-1946, לאחר המלחמה, נישאו ועברו לעיר וולבשיך בפולין. ב 1948 נולדה בתם חניתה. ב-1950 עלו לארץ באוניה קוממיות, וגרנו במחנה עולים ולאחר מכן עברו להתגורר בקרית ים, ובהמשך בקרית מוצקין. מקס, עבד בפניציה כמחסנאי ראשי, וסלה עבדה כעקרת בית. אבא נפטר ב-2002 עקב מחלה. לאחר מספר שנים סלה עברה להתגורר ב"בית בלב" בקרית מוצקין. סלה נפטרה ב -2015 ונטמנה ליד מקס בבית העלמין בצור שלום.
