A poem taken from a book with a collection of his poems, created for him by his family for his 80th birthday.

For Memorial Day
No one heard their cry ,
The whole world’s ears were shut,
Surrounded by bloodthirsty beasts,
God wasn't there either!
Unscrupulous murderers in uniforms,
Horrible monsters with their rifles loaded,
Every human emotion disappeared,
In a crazy orgy – to destroy a people.
They did not complete their job.
We remained (Remnants of Hell)
With pain rooted in our hearts,
It is hard to talk. Hard to remain quiet, either.
Our eyes will forever see,
A heartbreaking picture of our loved ones.
We will never forget you, dear ones,
You still live in the depth of our hearts.
