The State Ceremony for Laying Wreaths, 28.4.2022
On April 28, 2022, the official state ceremony for the laying of wreaths took place at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem.
Wreaths were laid at the ceremony by the President of the State, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Knesset, the President of the Supreme Court, heads of security and government agencies, organizations of survivors and fighters, and representatives of various public institutions and organizations.
Our representatives this year are: Yael Smikt—first generation, Drohobych; Dina Rahat-Shamir—second generation, Boryslav; and Tzofit Ayal, Yael’s daughter.
